XYZ Services understands that many alcoholics and other individuals in recovery often have a hard time coping with the winter holiday season.

With Thanksgiving, Christmas, Chanukah and New Years traditionally being holidays that are celebrated with large amounts of drinking and drugging. XYZ Services knows that some recovering alcoholics tend to become a little bit anxious this time of the year. Fortunately, many Alcoholics Anonymous groups across America hold events each year that are known as Alkathons. What are Alkathons, you might ask.

In the Washington DC Metro Area, the Rockville Metro Club, in Rockville, Maryland, traditionally holds holiday marathon AA Meetings. this year is no exception.

This year, starting New Year’s Eve at 10:30 PM, Rockville Metro Club will begin its marathon meeting sessions. Meetings will continue every 2 hours until midnight of January 1, 2011. For a complete list of other meetings at Rockville Metro Club you can visit the site at www.rockvillemetroclub.org
